File Format

Clean, editable files (like Word or Excel) are quickest to work with. If your original is in InDesign, share an IDML file – we’ll return it ready to import, saving you manual typesetting work.

Length & Complexity

Longer texts generally cost more, but even short copy can be tricky – think slogans or creative adaptations that need extra thought. And remember, every project involves behind-the-scenes work like prep and communication, regardless of word count.

Turnaround Time

We get it – translations often land at the last minute before a deadline. While we're flexible (rush jobs are our specialty!), tight timelines like same-day or weekend work may include a surcharge. Planning ahead ensures top qualityand keeps costs down.

Language Pairs

Common languages (like French, German, Spanish, English) follow standard rates. For less common ones (like Somali, Tamil, Arabic), pricing may vary slightly due to translator availability.

Subject Matter

Need a nuclear power plant manual or a 16th-century art provenance translated? Highly specialized content may cost slightly more, as we'll match you with translators experienced in the field – and we recommend client review for precision.

Service Level

Certified Translations

Need a certified translation for legal use in Sweden? We work with state-authorized translators (as required by Swedish law), at a higher rate.
